Portland Basements is a legally registered DBA (doing business as) or assumed business name of RDG Read Development LLC, a licensed residential contractor working on Basement Excavation, Waterproofing, Finishing and Foundation Work.
We will have a re-vamped version of this website at www.portlandbasements.com early in the new year.

You can count on us to return calls promptly, answer any questions you have along the way and address problems as they develop. We back our work fully and will respond in a timely manner should concerns develop after the project is done.
We hold the new Lead Safety for Renovation, Repair and Painting certificate which, effective April 22, 2010, became necessary for almost all work on 1978 or older homes.
Earth Quake Retrofits: We have had more queries about Earth Quake Retrofits since the March Earth Quake and Tsunami struck Japan so we have added some basic information about that kind of work here.
